本单元通过Amy 和Sam 在Daming家中做客的场景，来继续学习如何去描述现在正在发生的事情以及句型Do you want some noodles? Yes, please./ No, thank you. 的用语，并通过一个Rhyme的学习，来培养学生的语言节奏感。
II、Teaching aims
1、能听、读、说making dumplings／cooking vegetables，并了解其含义；
2、能灵活运用重点句型，并清楚其运用的场合和语气；
(1) What are you doing ? I’m making dumplings./ I’m cooking vegetables.
(2) Do you want some ? Yes , please !/ No thank you .
3．能模仿本文对话，并能在一定的语境中运用所学语言进行交际；
4．培养学生的注意力和观察力，激发学生积极思维，挖掘学生运用语言的创造能力。

教学反思:
本课的教学目的是“让学生学会使用现在进行时谈论与食物相关的事情”。 根据新的课程标准，英语教学的首要目标是培养学生综合运用语言的能力。因此，我在课堂上设计有关的场景让学生有机会进行模拟交际，激发学生学习英语的兴趣，培养学生听，读，说，理解和运用英语的能力；采用分组练习，培养孩子们的团队精神和探索精神。在本课教学中，我根据学生的年龄特点和英语掌握情况，设计了一些活动，取得了较好的成效。在热身和复习环节中，我运用食物卡片，复习了有关食物的单词，并呈现了“Do you want some…?Yes, please. No, thank you. ” 句型，通过小组问答，师生对话，俩俩对话等方式，帮助学生回忆并巩固已学知识。
当然在本课教学中，也存在着一些不足和遗憾之处，引发我的思考。如区分make”和“cook”时，可以使用图片进行对比的方法。这种形象的图片法可以更加深他们对这两个动词的印象，帮助学生更好地理解和区分它们。
